Hebrews 11:1-3

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Come join us for Old Timers Day on October 19th. Dress in old attire enjoy bluegrass gospel singing, After service join us for chicken and dumpling, pinto beans, corn bread and fixings. Musicians to be announced.

 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be said through the truth. John 17:13-19

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Dillsboro 125th anniversary celebration

This Saturday September 6, 2014  Dillsboro will be celebrating 125 years! The church will be open and displaying old photos from throughout the years! There will be a stage with music at the end of Church Street and Mountain Faith is one of the scheduled performers and will be on stage at 2:30!
